Central Baptist Church was started in the heart of Amarillo in 1931 by Dr. J. Frank Norris of Ft. Worth, Texas. In May of 2007, we were able to move into our new facilities in the Southwest part of town after more than 75 years in our downtown location. If you are looking for a church home that will love you and teach to you the Word of God, please come visit us. We would love to minister to you, your family, and answer any questions you might have. Our church has many different ministries where a person can grow and serve. The main ministry is preaching & teaching the Word of God.
Other ministries include: Central Baptist Christian Academy, World Wide Missions, Bus Ministry, Music Ministry, Children, Teen, & Adult Sunday School, Discipleship, and Soul winning program. If you live in our area, are moving here, or are visiting our city, we would love to have you visit our church. Our desire is to be able to help and encourage you and your family.
