Thank you for taking time to visit our website and your interest in Central Baptist Church.
Central Baptist Church was started in the heart of Amarillo in 1931 by Dr. J. Frank Norris of Ft. Worth, Texas. In May of 2007, we were able to move into our new facilities in the Southwest part of town after more than 75 years in our downtown location. Our church has many different ministries where a person can grow and serve. The main ministry is preaching & teaching the Word of God. Other ministries include: Central Baptist Christian Academy, Bus Ministry, Music Ministry, Children, Teen, & Adult Sunday School, Discipleship, and Soul winning program. If you live in our area, are moving here, or are visiting our city, we would love to have you visit our church. Our desire is to be able to help and encourage you and your family. Our purpose is to help strengthen your spiritual growth in the Lord Jesus Christ. If you are looking for a church home that will love you and teach to you the Word of God, please come visit us.
